SUPPORTING

The Friends of the New Port Richey Library provides support to our library's staff and programming. Our volunteers appreciate the work our librarians do and assist them to feel supported by their community. We applaud them on social media, provide funding for their staff celebrations and help initiate their literacy goals for the New Port Richey area.

FUNDING OUR LIBRARY

Our Friends group engages in fundraising activities to give our downtown library the additional funds needed to keep their technology, equipment and educational resources updated and relevant. Fundraising also helps us tell our community about the many services our library provides.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION

Our library is a public space and offers free creative and educational programs to our area residents. Our Friends group helps inform our community of what is available at the library, network with local business and fund some of the library's excellent programs.
